Lady In Red

Does anyone remember the Carmen Sandiego craze in the early 1990s? Why have we let her off so easy? I mean, she's a criminal! It's like we just gave up after she started traversing through time in Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego?.

Seriously guys, she wears nothing but red. ALL red. Surely she can't blend in with such a limited wardrobe. We shouldn't have to know so much about geography or history to find and capture her. We have Google now. And eyeballs that help us to distinguish a person wearing ALL RED.

I'm very disappointed in us all.

Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego. Thats the problem we are looking for Carmen in time and she's in the world. We need to be a bit more conscientious and pay closer attention to detail. We might then capture the elusive Carmen Sandiego. I've got both eyes out for her! We'll get you Carmen Sandiego!

don't try to distract us, windy. we are looking for carmen sandiego, not waldo. last i heard, he was found in a new york subway singing air supply songs and throwing burritos at passersby.

I used to love that game! But I never knew what to do when I came to a river. No one could explain to me what "fording" a river meant at that age.

Oh- and I remember typing papers for school at home on our type writer. I remember the pain of using stupid white-out for every typing mistake. It took FOREVER!

Carmen Sandiego was last spotted at a downtown Chicago, Red HAT CLUB, rally supporting immigration rights. The leads are coming in by the THOUSANDS. Lets not get sidetracked from the task at hand. Sniffing dogs are all over your scent CARMEN!!

I believe the question of "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" is largely irrelevant when you consider the importance of the following inquiry:

Who here remembers Rockapella?

i'm not sure i follow the whole "where in time is carmen sandiego" thing. shouldn't it be "when in time?" but if she has indeed found a source for the one point twenty-one jigawats of electricity needed for time travel, then i'm not real sure how i'm supposed to find her. first of all, the body of my matrix is plastic, and the fiat maxes out at about 82 mph, and good luck keeping the front wheels on the road at that speed, much less 88.

and of course we all remember the oregon trail. we're not all mindless zombies. but even if we were, those zombie leaders would have a hard time making me forget that one. but my favorite school game was some math one where you had to go up to different levels and stuff. math is awesome.

interesting article on fords. however, i'm pretty sure that photograph on the top right is technically of a "puddle."

and strauch, i bought their christmas album last year. it was an a c'in good time. ok, that whole "a c'in" thing is a bit of a stretch, but i don't feel like explaining it. it's kind of like ghoti.

word verification: mytaxb. yeah, my tax b too high. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. dag, that's funny. but seriously, the government is killing me here.

Sorry, I had to interject and answer Aarons question:

Aaron, I remember Rockapella, and I miss them dearly. I can recite the entire Carmen San Diego theme song from the self entitled game show. I was also a HUGE fan of the cartoon as well.

You may now carry on with your regularly schedualed blog chat

whoa, hold on addy. i answered aaron's question in my blog chat. and if you indeed miss them so dearly, then perhaps you too should purchase their christmas album, or any album from their vast collection.
